i'm capable

MONDAY 191107
The first day was nothing much. The PRCS student were separated into three groups named Da Gama, Raffles and Raleigh. I was separated from Alyah and that was sad. boohoo. However, i was good without her. hehs. Life has to go on Alyah. My group name was Da Gama. The surname of some ancient man whom i don't know. The morning was spent on handling administrative hours. It was very draggy. We did the first activity of the course which to fall backwards freely with support of course.
TUESDAY 201107
We learnt to kayak and also capsize on this day. Capsizing is funn just the sea water entering my mouth was too salty. I mean it's SEA water. After the kayaking lesson, we kayaked to campsite 1 which is 500m apart from where we were at first. The sense of exhaustion has yet to come and hence it was fun. The night was a little different from other nights because we actually slept in the hall where the climbing obstacles are. This is due to the storm and our tents were absolutely wet. There was a puddle of water in like every tent and perhaps you can take a swim in it. hahs. Though that is nothing near possible people.
WEDNESDAY 211107
The day when i realised that kayaking isn't fun. We woke up around 5am to catch the high tide. Being Da Gama, we were late. However, the rest were late as well. The leaders thought we can't make it. I went against then and really thought that we have to make it. Frankly speaking, overnight in the muddy swamp is a complete nightmare which will happen when we kayak in the swamp when it's low tide. In the end, we were successful. We actually kayaked half of the perimeter of Pulau Ubin. The expedition is described as extremely tiring. At first, i was in the same boat with Shaun and Aqil. I was good with them. I was sent to rescue the incapable couple, Tricia and ZQ. THen i realised, why they were slow. Their paddling was as good as not paddling at all. No offence but it's the truth. It was like i was being sent there to die mann. Simply said, i was the only one paddling. Later on, Matthew switched with ZQ. It did a little help until Tricia got weaker. Nothing gets worst when i got seasick. I really thought that it was the end of me. Matthew insisted on paddling on his own but no way i have got to help him no matter what. Then, I grabbed my arm muscles and it was hard mann. i meant it's still hard now. hahhaah. It was never my intention to brag. My kayak was the last one to reach. Sorry Hanisah to keep you waiting for the slow and incapable (for that time) me.
On that same day, we had to walk to the next campsite which is not that far from camp 1. That was when Shereen, my so not CAPABLE friend (joking only lahh ok), and i had to carry our bag which i think contained gold. It was where no proper toilet was available and so i didn't do any business. I was capable enough to control my sphincter muscle until i get to a proper restroom near "Kampong Ubin".
THURSDAY 221107
The fourth day. The day when we actually walked the through Pulau Ubin. We had to carry those 100 kg bags. i know i was exaggerating but it was very heavy. That bag of ours which contained probably gold was carried by the mighty Shaun Lim (i didn't say the rest weren't). I think if i carried that bag i would be flattened or even get shorter. We were motivated by the fact that we could go home the following day. yeahh mann. i miss my mama. The night was sort of a unforgettable one. We ate overcooked spaghetti. How nice. Nevertheless, we have to appreciate those who actually helped to cook. Like me... NOT. When the later part of the night came, we have people quarrelling about their mothers and fathers in a way that it becomes vulgar. How spastic they were.
FRIDAY 231107
Lastly, the best day of all, the last day. The day when we can get over to the other side of the sea and hug our mums. yeahh. Before that, we had to share and speak our last words to our group called Da Gama. I've gained new experience and become more CAPABLE. We did our last activity for the course which was to jump forward and touch the bell ahead. Before that, we had to say put commitment(s) aloud. I was a little extra because i have more than one. My commitments are to be a swimmer, a drummer and a chemist. I believe i can achieve them all. Now, i don't really miss OBS that much but i miss the spirit of Da Gama whereby each and everyone of us is CAPABLE in their own way.
